Avatar
In Avatar, there is a man named Jake Sully and he is Veteran from the war. His brother was a part of the Avatar program and he had his own Avatar. When he did they asked Jake to help out because since they have the same DNA base they can use the same avatar. In return they would give Jake (Paraplegic) his legs back. The planet is called Pandora and it is inhabited by a primitive race called the Na’vi and Jake is sent in to learn their ways so that he can help relocate them and the humans can take over. The movie is a good example of what we are doing to our world. We are destroying the environment and natural world which the human race relies on for resources and ecosystems to keep the planet healthy for human life. That is what the humans want to do in this movie. They want them to move so they can get a metal that is very expensive. While killing everything in its path. i highly recommend this movie because the story is very meaningful and the special effects in Avatar was spectacular. PG-13

I completely agree with you. In my opinion, This was one of the greatest fantasy-fiction movies of all time. Like you said, the special effects were awesome and I really loved the message behind it.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with the idea that humans are selfish and careless. We are sometimes so blinded by the idea of money or power that we cannot see the damage we cause, or the people we hurt. We are definetely destroying the environment and the natural world little by little everyday. I think if we want to keep living in the beautiful world we do today, we must start caring about the environment NOW. Imagine how much better the world could be, if we all worked together to maintain it.
This was a truly remarkable film. I normal tend to stay away from science fiction movies, but this one was an exception. The movie caught my attention and ended up being one of my favorites. The special effects were outstanding and pretty much made the film. I watched this movie both in 3D and 2D and the quality of the film definitely depended on the 3D effects.
